What are they & how do Cash Back sites work?

Shop at Home and Ebates are “cash back” sites that offer you cash back on your online purchases…You’ll want to create a free account with each of them…And then when you shop online navigate to the retailers site thru them.  Its pretty easy, and both sites work pretty much the same way…

• Create or Log onto your Ebates or Shop at Home account  

• Type the name of the store you want to shop at in the search box
• Click the Store when a picture of their Web Page pops up…it will also tell you how much cash back to expect!
• After you click the link a “ticket” will pop up redirecting you to the desired site…just wait…dont click anything!
• Once you get to the site, shop as you normally would…add items to your cart and check out!
• About 36-48 hours later your Shop at Home or Ebates account will be credited the appropriate cash back amount!
• * If you close the window of the store your shopping at, your tracking ticket will be lost and you wont get any cash back!

When do I get paid?

Your cash back is not an instant cash back that is reflected in your receipt!  Both cash back sites require you have a minimum balance of $20 to receive payment.  Ebates can pay you via PayPal or by mail once a quarter. Shop at home will send you check 45-60 days after you hit the $20 mark.  There is no limit or cap to how much cash back you can earn! If you don’t have enough earnings to cash out during the current period, the cash just sits until enough is collected and then its sent to you.

Are there any other perks?

When you do a search for a store it will also show any available coupon/promo codes, you can use these codes like you normally do to lower the cost of your purchase!

Why do I need to join BOTH?

Make sure you sign up for BOTH sites…many times one will offer a higher cash back amount than the other, for example one may offer 10% and another 6% for Sears this week…and then the next week it may be flip flopped, so you increase your earnings by choosing which to shop thru!
