" Why can't I get 99% savings at the Grocery store like on Extreme Couponing?"

There is one thing I would like to state about the TLC Extreme Couponing Show. I know alot of people have started using coupons because of watching that show and I know groceries are expensive and everybody is trying to save money! I teach coupon classess and I hear all the time....I want to save 99% on groceries like I see on EC. Here's what you have to remember...When you start couponing "hard-core"...don't like to use the word Extreme...you start getting free/nearly free items and you SLOWLY build a stockpile. Everybody that has watched the show has seen these massive stockpiles...so when you see people on the show "grocery shopping" they have a huge stockpile at home. They are shopping for ONLY free/cheap items not a weekly grocery run. That's where the 99% savings comes in. It takes months even a year or two to build a HUGE stockpile especially when it comes to food items. Toothpaste, deo, bodywash, shampoo/conditioner comes pretty fast...I won't need any of that for awhile! I build my food stockpile up and then either the sales are a little slow or funds are a little slow and then my family eats off my food stockpile for a few weeks. Then I have to build it back up. Just don't want anyone to get frustrated....Just an FYI :)
